What to put in a just sold post

The short answer: Thank your clients, show the home at its best, share only what’s true and approved, and invite the next seller to talk.

  1. Thank people, not just the house.

A just sold post is a thank-you first. Your clients will want to share it.

  2. Ask before you name or picture a client.

Some clients love a shout-out. Some don’t. A quick text settles it.

  3. Only share numbers that are true.

Days on market or over asking, only if it’s accurate and your brokerage allows it.

  4. Show the home at its best.

Your strongest listing photo still works. The home gets one last moment in the spotlight.

  5. End with an open door.

“Thinking about selling? Let’s talk.” Simple, and enough.

What Sam needs from you

Tell Sam the home sold and anything you’d like to say about it. She has the photos and details from your listing.

Good to know.

  • Can I use a photo of my clients?

Yes. Add it like any other photo once your clients are happy to be in the post, and Sam includes it the way you ask.

  • What if I was the buyer’s agent?

Sam can make a post for the buyer’s side too: congratulations to your buyers on their new home. Add the photos you’re allowed to use, and follow your MLS and brokerage rules for a home you didn’t list.

  • Will Sam post it without asking me?

No. You see the post exactly as it will look, and it goes out only after you approve it.

Be the agent they already know.

When it’s time to buy or sell, people call the agent they’ve been seeing all along. Sam makes sure that’s you.
